Former Minister of Education, Oby Ezekwesili, has called for an inclusive educational system to bridge the gap between the rich and the poor in the country. Ezekwesili said that leaving education in the hands of the bureaucrats and politicians would be a fragment that does represent the entire society. To achieve the desired progress in the nation’s educational system, she noted that it must be inclusive and purposeful with target to meeting specific societal needs. The former education minister stated this yesterday at the 2019 edition of the yearly NEDIS Education Innovation Summit, organised and hosted by The Education Partnership (TEP) Centre. What we have today is not in sync with what the children of this generation require to be part of a competitive world.
